Where do I see myself 10 years from now? Was my learning in SPUP vital to where I'm leading to?
10 years from now, I can see myself as a web designer who works in a huge company somewhere in U.S.A where I become very famous in IT industry. And has the life that I’m dreaming of, life full of happiness and success just as I wanted. All of these will happen through the help of the teachers of St. Paul where I’m taking up my bachelor degree. My learnings in the said school is vital to where I ‘am leading to. The values they have taught the quality education they have was a complete package for us students. The school is determined and willing to give the best for the students, helping them in different aspect of their lives. Through them I became more confident with myself and that they have taught me that each and every one of us is unique and smart we just have to find that out. Just like me all of us undergo the process in this institution and that is transformation. Changing to become a mature decent young men and women, preparing themselves in the world of IT.
Was IT the best course choice after all? (State the struggles you had in the course as well as convincing relatives/friends that it's the best course out there) Why not nursing?
I honestly never thought that the course I have chosen was the best course. But now I realized it was indeed the best course and choice after all because it gives the students the freedom to do something out of their ideas and imaginations. It was a course full of excitement and fun that make the student love this course. As I go through I'm beginning to enjoy and appreciate the things that we are learning. The different activities that they are giving were really helpful it make us busy and not bored. A lot of interesting and cool things that I never expected to learn. I'm glad that I made the right choice in choosing the right course for me.
Why not nursing? simply because I don’t want this course because now a days almost all nursing students are ending up getting a job in call center , malls and fast food chains not where they are suppose to be. Nursing is not easy you need to undergo a lot of hardships in your study, you need to be independent and you need to read everytime. Lastly they really had a hard time looking for a job suitable for their course. Unlike IT there are many field you can choose and you can easily fin a job. The good thing in IT is that you can work anywhere still your happy with what you are doing and you are applying all of your knowledge with regards to IT stuff.
State everything you've learned in IT Management and Current Trends and the course subject experience itself. What part of it will you never forget?
The subect was boring but the professor made it a fun and exciting subject. All of the lessons were interesting the robots, viruses, IT current trends and a lot more. This taught me that being an IT keeping myself informed to what's new and not is very important. Everything I've learned will not be that useful when I will start working because technology keeps changing. And that reading information, seraching, continuous studying and learning stuff is one important thing I've learned from sir mars. He had been a very kind and understanding teacher, a teacher who almost always gives consideration. And the part that I will never forget was that he gives prizes one thing that surprised me. I never expected that and I never encounter a teacher like him, you’re the best sir! Thank you for everything, for helping us not to get a low grade, you’re really different from other teacher that e had.
